Property market remains OPEN amid national lockdown

News photo

We hope that you managed to make the most of Christmas and New Year and that you and your loved ones are fit and well.

After last night's announcement you can be forgiven for wondering what's happening within the property industry. It's a confusing time and I don't blame the people who are going to companies like The Easy Home Buyer to sell their house without the hassle of having to deal with realtors AND covid. We're here to help simplify the news for you.

We wanted to reassure you that the real estate industry is still open for business. You can still view houses, hire movers Winston Salem and other similar removal companies, and make appointments. We are taking every step necessary to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff. Not to mention it gives you more time to consider your options and your finances, for example, if you think you might need a bridging loan or perhaps want to get in contact with a wholesale mortgage lender to discuss your options, now that the whole process is slowed down it allows time to ensure all plans are set.

The government guidance is as follows –

‘You can still move home. People outside your household or support bubble should not help with moving house unless absolutely necessary. Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings.'

Please note that removal firms will remain open and can be used when necessary.

If you are worried about trying to find support at this difficult time, you can contact us for advice on how to proceed with your move, or you can head to https://farnorthdallashomes.com/ for advice on how best to handle your finances as you complete a sale.

Viewings and appraisals can proceed providing –

  • Attendees have shown no symptoms for Covid-19, have not been asked to self-isolate within the last 72 hours or are awaiting a test result.
  • Face coverings are worn in doors and social distance is maintained.
  • Windows / doors are opened to encourage air flow.

We will also be filming video tours of the property and sending these to applicants ahead of in person viewings.

Our office

Our office opening hours are unaffected and key collection can be conducted through the letter box at the front of the office building on Grange Road.
